Validering
BSim har ikke været igennem en omfattende validering, men forløberen, tsbi3, var del af en større empirisk validering gennemført under det Internationale Energi Agentur's Solar Heating and Cooling program's task 12 - Building Energy Analysis and Design Tools For Solar Applications. De centrale algoritmer i BSim er for den største dels vedkommende de samme som i tsbi3.
